We are using 7.3.5. and they still start at 1...How can this be fixed?

  • sopeters

    Hi Wesinls,

I tracked the failure report and it was unfortunately not fixed for version 7.3.5/7.3.6.

It has now been put to attention and we will prioritise to fix this in the next version of DCO.

Unfortunately there is no work around at present.

The fix has been made and is going out in the next version of StruxureWare Data Center Operation. There has been added a property on the blade chassis physical property page to make indexing start from zero.

On existing solutions (in the Data Center model and custom genomes) this update must be done manually either from the property page of each device or using the equipment browser for bulk changing.

In the Genome Library Sun and Oracle blade chassis will have this set by default.

Thanks for letting us know of this missing functionality once again.

    /Søren

Why do SUN chassis start @ slot 1 in StruxureWare 7.2- Can you guys fix it so they start @ slot 0...SUN's start at zero in their chassis slots, not 1.

This is answered in the Operation 7.2 thread.
This has been tracked as a failure report and will be looked upon going forward.
