    Hola Bill

    Quería Consultarte debido  a que este procedimiento lo realice sobre la red APC-LAN y no funciono la dirección HTTP:/192.168.1.1/ResetUsarNameAndPasswordToDefault

    Quería saber si este procedimiento se realiza sobre la red privada de APC o sobre otro puerto como el Com 1 o User-Lan

    También queria decirte quela versión del ISX Manager que tengo es el 4.3 y del Controlador Informático esla Versión 1.3.4

    En todo caso queria saber, si existe otra manera.

    Hola,

    Yes. You must be connected to theAPCprivate network to perform the procedure. Since your system is version 4.X you should follow these instruction:


    1) Connect a laptop to the InfraStruXure Manager Hub and make sure it is assigned an IP.

    2) Using a paper clip or similar item hit the reset button on the ISX Mgr.

    3) Verify that after the reboot you still have a valid IP on the laptop and log onto the ISX Mgr using admin/apc within five minutes of the reboot."

    Intente el procedimiento que me indicaste y es el mismo que me indica en el manual de Administrador de ISX.

    Y este procedimiento ya lo intente. Y no me tomo el Usuario admin / apc.

    ¿Sabes de algun otro procedimiento?

    Hello Luis,

    The password reset instructions Bill provided above is the only procedure we have for versions 4.x. Although I believe this issue could be related to the issue we were having with ISX Manager a couple of months ago. The forum post is below:

    Infrastructure Manager - Password Reset?

    You will need to contact Technical support in your region and they will provide instructions and a link to update the certs and your ISX Manager to the latest version 4.7 (ISX Manager needs to be on the latest version for this to work). Once you have all the information provided by Tech Support and have followed the instructions provided and are still having problems, let me know.

    Buenas Tardes

    Tengo problemas con el acceso administrador del infrastruxure Manager. debido a que por A o B, se perdio la contraseña del administrador.

    Eh intendado restablecerlo, como lo indica en el manual. Conectandome por la red privada de APC. pero no toma el usuario generico que tiene el manual.

    queria saber, si hay otro procedimiento o bien restablecer el equipo como defecto de fabrica.

    This is the Lost Password Recovery Procedure for an InfraStruXure Manager

    "Please follow these steps in order to reset the password on ISX Manager (Information Controller) version 1.3.4 and earlier:

    1) Connect a laptop to the InfraStruXure Manager Hub and make sure it is assigned an IP.

    2) Using a paper clip or similar item hit the reset button on the ISX Mgr.

    3) Verify that after the reboot you still have a valid IP on the laptop and log onto the IC through the web interface using the following URL:

    http://192.168.1.1/ResetUserNameAndPasswordToDefault

    Please note that this step MUST be completed within five minutes of the reboot of the ISX Mgr. and it is case sensitive.

    At this point the user/password should be reset to apc/apc

    On ISX Manager version 4.x:

    1) Connect a laptop to the InfraStruXure Manager Hub and make sure it is assigned an IP.

    2) Using a paper clip or similar item hit the reset button on the ISX Mgr.

    3) Verify that after the reboot you still have a valid IP on the laptop and log onto the ISX Mgr using admin/apc within five minutes of the reboot."
