I cannot uninstall or reinstall the power chute software - to the point of deleted all of the files and stopping processes. I've never had this problem in the years that I have used APC's.
We forgot the password for the APC Powerchute Business software so we tried to reinstall Powerchute using version 9 from the website. The installation of the Server failed upon creating APC PBE Server service - it was saying that the service is starting but it couldn't start it. So we tried to reinstall it again using original cd but the same happened. In between we restarted the server but it wouldn't help. Now APC PBE Server service won't start at all. Agent is still installed and I cannot install or remove the server from Add/Remove Programs. I found this instructions to manually remove the software but I would appreciate if you could give me official / tested instructions;

Thanks, I followed the instructions but when I try fresh installation afterwards Agent installs fine but Server doesn't: it hangs on Creating Server Service. If you stop/close the installation the server doesn't work properly. Any ideas on how to fix it?
