AP8853 PDU Fuse Protection on C13 sockets

    I feel I'm missing something on this one but with only a 16A breaker protecting each bank on a AP8853 what is protecting the 10A rating of each C13 socket?  Or indeed if a device says "fuse at 5A" how does that work when plugged into a PDU like this?

    Other than the bank breakers, the individual outlets on the AP8853 do not have additional protection, apart from the requirements that apply to C13/C14 connectors and cables. C13/C14 connectors/cables are standardized at 10A so devices with a C14 input connection would not pull a higher than 10A current.

    A device that says "fused at 5A" typically has a 5A fuse built into its power supply circuit to limit its maximum current draw to 5A.
