I have a AP7900 and it was working fine before I made the attempt to upgrade the firmware. I was using th FTP to transfer the proper files (apc_hw02_aos_392.bin & apc_hw02_rpdu-39.bin when the device quit working. I guess now it is in a brick stat. What are my options to recover from this process? Is replacing the AP9517MS3 card an option? Can I make any type of attempt to reprogram using a TFTP server?
There could have been an issue during the transfer of files and the firmware got corrupted. You could attempt to update the firmware again via the wizard or FTP again, if you are still able to access the unit remotely. If that is unsuccessful, I would recommend you call into our tech support line for further assistance to see if we can recover the unit.
