Lowering 240 Volts -> 203 Volts

  • Good afternoon everyone.

    Is this normal, with the factory settings of the APC Easy-UPS SMV3000CA UPS, the decrease goes from 240 Volts (when the network is more than 230 Volts, namely 240 Volts) to 202-203 Volts (I did not believe the program, I measured it with a tester, the UPS actually gives 202-203 Volt when working on a decrease), as for me, this is a very low voltage ... Is this the norm? How do I regulate this?

    The UPS costs 53,000 rubles, which is just nonsense. IMHO. Give answer?

  • It will do this if you have configured it to.  Personally I think 240 V is fine (it is what comes out of the wall here) so I configure mine to only drop the voltage once it goes above 250 V, and then it drops it back to around 210-220 V.

    It is supposed to be based around some rule where it is maintaining +/- 20% of the nominal voltage, so if yours is set to 220 V then 240 V is probably too high, but 202 V isn't so bad.  Either way these values can be configured so you can change them if you wish.
