SRT5KXLI Error B.08 - Contact Customer Support - when connecte a battery pack

    Hello,

    I have mounted a new SRT5KXLI with 4 battery pack SRT192BP.

    When i mount the 4 - th battery pack I have an error on display "Error B.08 - Contact Customer Support ". removed and pluged again but the error did not disappear. On web I have an critical alarm "1 Critical Alarm present - Battery general error for battery pack 4 " even i have removed the battery.

    1.What this error means? "Error B.08 - Contact Customer Support ".

    2. How can I remove the critical alarm "1 Critical Alarm present - Battery general error for battery pack 4 " - reboot and self test already done it.

    Hi Muresan - 

    Are you using an extension cable with your battery packs? Does the fault clear with battery pack 4 removed?

    Hi Liam,

    I am using the original connection without any extensions (see attachment). After removing the battery I have to click "acknowledge" on the display, but on web i still see the error :

     """"2 Critical Alarms Present 

            Battery general error for battery pack 4.

            Battery pack 4 disconnected.""""

    In that case it is likely a hardware issue with the external battery pack. I would recommend you contact your local customer support team. Contact information can be found at https://www.apc.com/support
