Smart UPS: SRT10KXLI Power Sys Error - 00004

    Hi

    I have a problem with our UPS as it is notifying me that there is an internal hardware fault and the UPS switched to bypass mode.

    On UPS screen, a message " Power Sys Error - 00004 Contact Customer Service".

    This UPS in the warranty period. 

    How can I solve this problem?

    I have contacted the customer support.

    I'm searching if I can do something else to solve this issue.

    Hi Hamid - 

    if you look at the Event Log on your unit's LCD screen, there should also be an Event Code (typically a 3 digit number). Can you tell me what it is?

    Hi Hamid -

    You can try using the "brain dead" procedure to reset this fault:

    • Turn off UPS
    • Disconnect input power
    • Disconnect all batteries (internal and external)
    • Reconnect batteries, reconnect input power, and turn UPS back on

    If this fails to clear the fault, or if the fault returns, you should contact your local tech support team for further assistance or warranty replacement.

    1- SRT10KXLI problem, it showing on screen (Internal RBC needs Replacement on Battery).

    2- SRT6KXLI problem, During normal working day the smoke came from the power supply when we off the UPS after a few hours when we reconnect to the power the UPS cut the Main power feus.
