When I try to check for updates to PowerChute Personal Edition software I receive a message to check my internet connection, yet here I am, on the internet, in this support forum. What gives?
We apologize for the inconvenience. We are experiencing an issue with the update server. PowerChute Personal Edition 3.1 is the latest update. If a new update becomes available prior to the server being corrected I will post a banner on the home page of this forum.
It is now 5 months later (April 15, 2020) and that bug is not fixed yet.
My internet works fine. The "check for updates" button worked when I first did my update but when hitting that button again I get the "Could not check for updates" message. This discussion may have been "answered", but the reported and acknowledged problem has not yet been fixed.
The original post was on October 11th, 2019 so, it has been 7 months without a fix.
