Any battery backup for motorized recliner?

I am handicapped and today was trapped in my recliner because the electricity went out and I couldn’t get the foot rest down since it’s electrically controlled. I am wondering if there is a possibility that a UPS battery back up that I could plug my chair into would work.

If anyone has any ideas I would so much appreciate a response. Thank you.

    Hi Peg,

Could you provide the model of the chair or the power consumption as this will help answer this query?

    Thanks,

    Tom

I'm so sorry to be so late with this. I haven't checked my email recently. This is what my husband gave me off the power brick:

    Model MC110-29VIAA

    Input 100-240 V-50/60HZ, 12.2A

    Output 29V=1A

    Class 2 Power unit.

Hope this helps and thank you for the reply!
