We have several AP7941 PDUs that I'm looking to utilize.

I have equipment that I want to plug into them, but I have a question about the amplitude numbers and the readings on the PDU.

For example, we have an HP Proliant DL380p G8 that is listed as a max 8A and normal load of 4.5A.

But when I plug both power supplies into the PDU and power the unit on it maxes out at 5A and then normalizes at 3A on the PDU screen.

Is there a calculator or something we can use to get more real world amplitude levels in order to make sure we are not going to overload the PDUs?
