Pardon my naivety but we at my organization are contracting for cage space in a data center and they are supplying 208/30 to the Cage, We already own some metered AP7830 PDU's that take 120/20 input. Would it, if we were to purchase one of these, be able to step-down the voltage from 208 to 120 for the 7830's? I have read the documentation but it was not clear to me.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

the PDU extender doesnt "step down" the voltage, it just splits the hot legs that you have already. it uses a L14-30 plug on it which is 120/240v.

i dont see why you couldnt do this if you have an L14-30 receptable available..
