I have got APC Home UPS 850VA which I purchased 4 years ago.
The device is not working and when I contacted APC support directed me to Luminous Care who is responsible for APC inverter service in India. However, Luminous informed me that this product is not longer in market and hence parts are not available.
Now neither APC support or Luminous is responding to my request for service.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Since the unit is 4 years old it would be out of warranty unless you purchased an extended warranty. If you purchased an extended warranty you should contact local Schneider Electric support, provide them with the warranty number and they will be happy to assist you.
If the unit does not have an extended warranty I suggest you contact local Schneider Electric sales support. They may offer a trade in program.
APC stopped sales and service of all Home UPS products in India after Schneider Electric acquired Luminous. APC care now has a template response to contact Luminous for all service request. Luminous hardly replies to email and one of their service engineers contacted me a few weeks back and said they won't provide service to APC products due to lack of parts.
Now I have to throw this product in the trash given no after-sale support for these brands. Will never buy any products from APC or Schneider.
Sorry you are not happy with the service you have been offered. Give me a day or two and I will see if I can find the correct support contact for you in India.
APC support closed my case asking me to contact Luminous who never reply to any emails I sent or APC customer care sent. Now neither APC or Luminous reply to my emails.
