Hello, I have several APC unit's, but the one causing me major stress is the SC620 with the Serial connection, I don't have a Serial port on my Laptop, I have a serial to USB converter cable but, just don't seem to be able to get a connection, Powerchute personal does not see the unit and neither does Business edition which is browser based ! I can't be the only person with this problem, but just can't find any answer's on the web, my laptop is running windows 10, is upto date and has CH340 driver via the op system, comm port two, bit rate 2400, data bits 8,parity -none, stop bits 1 and flow control 1. Many thanks.

    Hi.

PowerChute Business Edition Agent should find the UPS connected to the com port. If you are running PowerChute Business Edition Agent 9.5 or 10.x when asked to select a UPS select Type B. The UPS should be discovered.

PowerChute Personal Edition will not discover the UPS.
