I'm having an inaccurate % load reading on powerchute 9.1.1.
Although on the ups display all the load leds are off, the software shows a constant load of 7.0 % even there is nothing connected to the output power outlets.
The software is running with an SURT 1000 XLI 1000VA.
Does anyone could have a clue about what could be happening.
Thanks in advance for you help.
PowerChute should only report what the Smart-UPS is reporting. You can try to reset the UPS
1) Turn off and unplug UPS from wall2) Press and hold the OFF button again3) You may see a quick flash of the LED's and you should hear an audible "click" from the UPS.4) Plug UPS back into the wall and turn UPS back on
Thank you Bill.
I tried your suggestion but had no effect.
I was thinking may be the internal components of the ups (fans, leds, cpu) could explain the load.
hi Robert, if bills suggestion didnt work can be a hardware problem , there is one internal component that read the output load , you can have bad this component and this cause this false load.
