I believe we have some PDU's that are having this issue. I was hoping to get some detailed instructions on accessing this PDU via the serial port. This PDU's are not managed on the network and no IP address assigned to them so I believe I have to connect to each one individually. Can you provide the steps needed to find out my current firmware versions and how to apply the latest firmware version? Thank you.

Depending on the age of the PDUs and your exact symptoms, you could be having the issue explained here (even if you aren't, these instructions are good for troubleshooting a general isolated issue like this) -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA237061
The question will be is your PDU accessible through the normal interface or if you'll need to try bootmonitor mode. If you try accessing the PDU @ 9600 baud rate and nothing happens, refer to the second kbase article I mentioned (FA237061)and under the last screenshot, the section that starts "If your PDU is in an unresponsive state.." and follow those instructions to try bootmonitor at 57600 baud rate.
Depending on how far you get, it'd also be good to know what LEDs are present on the display and what the LCD says and any background to how you came to the conclusion about a reboot loop.
